I found this shelf a long time ago when a friend was cleaning out her barn and she was going to throw it out and I thought "Mmmm... maybe I can do something with it!" That was Oh I don't know about 5 years ago lol! Well, I finally did something with it! It came out great and I love it!
Here is the shelf before..... BLAH!
~*Here it is after!*~ Much Nicer!!

*~*~*~*Here it is hanging on my wall filled with goodies!*~*~* Perfect!!

It only took me about 5 years but it was worth it LOL!

Janice... that is amazing... you did a fantastic job on that piece. You wonder sometimes why it took so long to do it... but it just wasn't it's time yet.

Thanks so much for popping over to my blog and your sweet comments. I can feel for your friends, it has been a long hard battle but it goes by quickly believe me. It has been the same situation for my daughter, she was at the Ronald McDonald House and hubby would come to see her every couple of days but have to go back home... it was so hard on both of them. Tell them to hang in there, it will all happen when the time is right. It is so worth it all in the end.

Love your blog... can't wait to have a better look around.

Hugs, Deb

PS... did you know you can set up your email directly... it makes it so much easier to get in touch with you... just a thought.
